Review: I had the opportunity to try out the Sambucol® Immune Tablets, Sambucol® Immune Formula and the Sambucol® for Kids . I'm happy to report that I haven't been sick since taking the tablets and the Immune formula. I wish I had discovered this when I was sick with a bad cold a few months ago. The cold had lasted for a good few weeks and I was completely miserable.

Kids Social Network Launches
At BUUUZ kids and parents create virtual "islands" based on subjects of interest (islands are populated by selected internet news feeds and community discussion). TAMPA, Fla. -- Feb. 1-7 is Burn Awareness Week, and during this week, Shriners Hospitals for Children will kick-off a year-long campaign focused on preventing gasoline burn injuries. A special Web site has been developed for the campaign, http://www.burnawarenessweek.org/.
"Preventing burn injuries and burn awareness education should be an ongoing effort, not just a week-long campaign," said Peter Armstrong, M.D., chief medical officer at Shriners Hospitals for Children. "We are declaring 2009 the year of 'Preventing Gasoline Burn Injuries.'"
According to a study published in the November 2007 issue of the Journal of Burn Care and Rehabilitation, there are an estimated 10,000 pediatric burn injuries annually in the United States. "Most of these types of burn injuries are preventable," Dr. Armstrong said.
Since 2002, Shriners Hospitals for Children has treated more than 800 children for acute burns caused by ignition of a highly flammable material, such as gasoline. Kids 13 and older are in the highest at-risk group for gasoline and other flammable substance burns.
Shriners Hospitals for Children encourages firefighters, teachers, parents, caregivers and other members of the community to participate in the year-long campaign by visiting http://www.burnawarenessweek.org/ for important gasoline safety and burn prevention messages and tips and information on how to order free materials, including lesson plans for students in grades K-3, facts sheets about gasoline safety, coloring books, crayons, stickers and copies of a DVD developed specifically for teen audiences.

Review: Laugh and Learn DVDs

She has taught over 4,000 couples, including many celebrities such as: Halle Berry, Nicole Richie, Cynthia Rodriguez, Tyler Florence, Isla Fisher, Helena Bonham Carter, Salma Hayek, Drea De Matteo - the list is endless!
I received the 3 DVD Set ($79.95), which includes: Laugh and Learn About Breastfeeding, Laugh and Learn About Childbirth, and Laugh and Learn About Newborn Baby Care. All of the DVDs can be bought separately ($22.95 - $39.95). I wish these DVDs were around when I was pregnant. I can't think of the many hours I spent Googling about childbirth and new baby tips. This would have saved a lot of time! I found these DVDs to be very thorough and informative without being boring. They were much better than I expected them to be!
I highly recommend these DVDs to new moms or those who need a refresher course. This would also make a wonderful baby shower gift!

Review: I received the Bumble Bag in Black, which is part of the Buzz Collection. The picture above doesn't do much justice for this diaper bag. I was impressed with the fabric and the lining (a beautiful paisley print). This isn't the only reason why I like it though. Even though it doesn't look it on the outside, but this diaper bag is very roomy and it doesn't take up a lot of room like my other diaper bags. This is the perfect diaper bag for me since I carry around a lot - whether it's a diaper bag or a handbag! It also comes with a changing pad and a snack bag, which makes an ideal diaper bag to take with you on a picnic. I think I've finally found a replacement for my Skip*Hop diaper bag.

Review: Mint is not just a garnish! There are many good uses for mint: a stress fighter, stomach reliever and a breath freshener. This is why Metromint piqued my interest and it did not disappoint. This is coming from a person that doesn't care for minty type food or beverages. I'm not a big fan of flavored water, because most flavored water has a good dose of artificial sweeteners and preservatives. So it was a breath of fresh minty air to stumble on Metromint.
I was able to sample all of the flavors from Metromint: Spearmint, Cherrymint, Orangemint, Lemonmint, Peppermint and Chocolatemint. I was surprised about how well I liked the drinks. I was expecting them to be overly minty and they weren't at all. My favorites were the Chocolatemint, Spearmint and Peppermint (I usually hate peppermint!). I didn't really care too much for the others, especially the Lemonmint and Orangemint since I'm not really into citrusy type drinks.

Review: Eleven Collection and See Kai Run

I must admit that every time I went to Eleven Collection and See Kai Run's site, I wanted some of their shoes for my son. I finally got my wish. I love the styles that they carry. 
The little man loves the classy Dublin ($58) and Dominic ($46) as much as I do! I have to hide them to keep him from wearing them everyday. Can you believe he wants to sleep in them? I assume that's because he thinks he may wake up and his boots will be gone. I know how children are when they really like something. They don't want to give it up.
The Dublin boots are modern, brown and blue suede ankle boots. The shoes are featured with all nubuck leather upper with flexible, durable rubber sole for active kids. They have cushioned insoles and zipper closure. I love that they are easy on and off. It was always a struggle to put other shoes on him.
The little man also looks cool in his Dominic. These boots are available In butter-soft sheepskin leather or faux-fur lined. They feature flexible rubber soles, which are healthy for developing feet but sturdy enough for outdoor play, and generous width and wide toe box for plenty of wiggle room.

I received the full line from Dr. Greene, which includes: Prenatal Complete Multivitamin & Mineral Supplement, Healthy Bone Formula, Omega-3 Fish Oil Softgels, Toddler Drops and Children’s Chewable Multivitamin/Mineral.
I've tried out a lot of vitamins for my son and myself. Some good. Some not so good. I haven't been so impressed with a vitamin line until I was introduced to the Dr. Greene vitamins. It was hard to give my son vitamins, especially the gummy bear type vitamins, because my son would spit them out. This is a little odd, because I even like gummy bears. 
I honestly didn't think I would have any luck giving my son the chewables, because they are enormous. I don't think I'd be able to chew anything like that! We received two different sets - Berry and Orange. However, I was very surprised that he didn't try to spit them out and he was able to chew them well since they're very soft. We received two sets - one in Berry and other in Orange. I alternate between the two every other day, but it doesn't seem like he has noticed the difference. He likes both flavors really well! I have made a point of hiding them since he likes them so well that he thinks he should have more than one a day.
I also had him to try out the Toddler Drops and he didn't have a problem with this product either. He has tried out something similar from a very popular baby formula brand and didn't like it all! Who could blame him? The taste was horrid and left a very bad after taste. However, this one wasn't like this at all - it has a great orange juice like taste and doesn't leave a bad after taste.
I also tried out the Prenatal Complete Multivitamin & Mineral Supplement, Healthy Bone Formula and Omega-3 Fish Oil Softgels for myself and couldn't be more pleased. Most vitamins make me feel very nauseated for some reason, but I didn't experience anything like that with this brand. I'm even taking other vitamins - Phytophanere Dietary Supplement for Hair & Nails and Origenere - all works well in conjunction with each other. I've also noticed my skin has been looking much better since I've been taking the vitamins, because I would bruise easily and would have several bruises on my body. I haven't really been seeing anything like that now! I guess I wasn't taking the right kind of vitamins.
Needless to say, we will be going "Greene" with our vitamins.
