About ecostore: ecostore NZ was founded more than 15 years ago by Melanie and Malcolm Rands from their home in an eco village in New Zealand.
The original customer base of ecostore NZ was comprised of mostly ‘Greenies’ and organic gardeners. However, it was not long before testimonials from other parents (many of whom were unaware of the benefits of eco-friendly products) began to pour in with wonderful news of their children's allergies and eczema clearing up. Many noted that any respiratory issues were healing, and many lingering chronic conditions were disappearing.
By simply changing to the genuinely clean and green ecostore products, people were experiencing surprising and unexpected improvements in their health. As the notion of using products with “No Nasty Chemicals™” gained popular appeal, ecostore quickly outgrew its location in the Rand’s basement and the business moved to a storefront in Auckland, New Zealand.
ecostore USA knows that it can be expensive to buy natural or organic products, but they've found a way around this by safely super-concentrating each formulation. This means that a little really does go a long, long way. The result is saving money by significantly cutting down on cost per use.
Review: I had the opportunity to participate in the ecostore USA Blog Tour on the behalf of Green and Clean Mom and ecostore USA. I was able to sample the full size product of the Natural Citrus Spray Cleaner ($9). I'm very pleased with their product! The citrus smell is very subtle, but most importantly it gets the job done without any harsh ingredients or smells. This is not my first foray in green cleaning. Therefore, I can honestly tell you that I think green cleaning products work much better than the traditional cleaners. Honestly, it is all I buy now!
The ecostore USA line made their debut in Meijer stores on February 22nd.
Hopefully, they will introduce their line to other stores in my vicinity since there isn't a Meijer store in my location.

Review: My family had the opportunity to sample the entire line from Inko's Healthy White Tea. Their line includes Original, Lychee, Cherry Vanilla, Honeysuckle, Apricot, Blueberry, Honeydew, Hint O' Mint and White Peach. As a tea lover (particularly Green Tea and White Tea), I'm very impressed with this line! Each tea flavor was unique. If you're fond of sweet beverages, this line might not be for you since their tea isn't that sweet at all, which I really like! The "sweetest" would have to be Honeydew.
I was surprised that my son liked this tea so well. Since their tea isn't ~loaded up with sugar~ like most tea products, I didn't mind him sampling this line. My favorites were the Honeydew, Blueberry Hint O' Mint Apricot and White Peach.
I don't know of any places in my area that carries this brand of tea. That is why I'm going to recommend stores to them since I'd love to buy from this line in the future! You can do the same with this form or you can order from their online store.

Johnson's 50th Anniversary Blog Tour
Review: I had the opportunity to participate in the Johnson's 50th Anniversary Blog Tour on the behalf of Mom Central and Johnson's. In celebration of their 50th Anniversary, I was given a chance to sample full size products of the Johnson's Baby Bubble Bath & Wash ($3.99 at Drugstore.com) and Johnson's Head-to-Toe Foaming Wash.
My son fell in love with the Johnson's Baby Bubble Bath & Wash. He absolutely loves taking a bath. This makes bath time a much more enjoyable experience for him since he loves bubble baths. Who doesn't? The scent is also nice. It might just be me, but I'm thinking it is berry scented.
The Johnson's Head-to-Toe Foaming Wash is another great product from the Johnson's brand. This product is a mild cleanser that is ideal for newborns. My son is far from being a newborn and I was still able to appreciate this product. The only thing is that when I used it on his hair, it dried out his hair. Other than that, it is a wonderful foaming wash.

Review: Fanciful Fox
Meet Mother and Daughter Team: Amanda Fox and her mother Kathie Fox were bored one rainy afternoon. So they decided to hit the local craft store in search of mother/daughter activities. They happily stumbled on a candle making kit that turned out to be fabulous fun, but who knew that one day that candle kit would morph into a bath and body store? They learned more about fair trade through their vegetarianism and added fair trade in their stewing pot. They launched their store in September 2008.
Fanciful Fox offers a wide range of products at budget friendly prices for people of all ages. The mother and daughter duo at Fanciful Fox live a very strict vegan lifestyle and it reflects in their products. They don't use petrochemicals, parabens, formaldehyde donors, or carcingogens of any kind. The only ingredients that they're interested in using are the ones that sound pretty and is pretty for you.
Review: As a huge scrubbie fan, I was pleasantly surprised to receive the Super Fancy Body Scrub ($11.99), The Green Volcano Foot Scrub ($11.99), Scrubber ($5.99) and Salty But Sweet Hand Scrub ($5.99).
Scrubber and Salty But Sweet Hand Scrub are the best hand scrubs I've come across so far! Both do a fine job at exfoliating your hands and leaving them baby soft. The Scrubber is packed with apricot seeds, sugar, ground oatmeal, jojoba pearls and almond oil to keep your hands well moisturized without making them feel greasy. It has a light perfumey scent.
While on the other hand (no pun intended), the Salty But Sweet Hand Scrub is blended with sea salt, finely ground walnut shells, oatmeal and vitamin E. The name of this product describes the scent perfectly. It has more of a gourmand scent and is a bit more abrasive than the other scrub. It is hard to choose which hand scrub I like better. So I will say that I like both!
The The Green Volcano Foot Scrub is one of the best foot scrubs I've tried out. When I first opened the container the refreshing scent of peppermint was evident. It also has a wonderful blend of sea salt and oatmeal that will exfoliate your feet to perfection. After rinsing this off, my feet feel so refreshed and soft. It doesn't only make my feet feel better, but it also makes my feet look better. This is a good thing for someone who likes to wear heels.
Last, but surely not least... I tried out the Super Fancy Body Scrub. I thought that the apricot seeds and walnut shells would be too scratchy for my skin, but that wasn't the case at all with this scrub. While it doesn't give my skin that well polished look that I usually crave for when exfoliating, it provides the right amount of moisture and makes my skin feel super soft. Like the Scrubber, it also has a pleasant perfumey smell.
Overall, I'm happy with the Fanciful Fox line. At their very reasonable prices, they prove that you don't have shell out a lot of money to be gorgeously green.

Review: Rembrandt
About Rembrandt: Rembrandt came t0 be when a dentist decided to make a better toothpaste. He began by dreaming about papayas. Review: I received several products from Rembrandt. However, I'll be reviewing a few tonight and more within a few weeks.
The Rembrandt Whitening Mouthwash with Fluoride ($5.99) has a strong mint flavoring. It is almost strong as Listerine, but at least it doesn't burn and almost take my breath away. I love the fact that it restores tooth enamel and whitens the teeth. Even though I didn't notice any dramatic results with their mouthwash, it is something I will consider on purchasing in the future.
I received a few of their toothpaste flavors. This includes the Rembrandt Whitening Intense Stain Toothpaste with Fluoride in Mint ($7.49), Rembrandt Plus Peroxide Toothpaste in Wintergreen ($7.49) and Rembrandt Plus Premium Whitening Toothpaste with Peroxide in Fresh Mint ($7.49).
I've thought about buying their toothpaste in the past, but I never made the purchase after hearing so many mixed reviews. I didn't want to make a small splurge on toothpaste and end up regretting it. However, I know people who swear by their toothpaste. After having the opportunity to try out the Rembrandt toothpaste, I know why! I will definitely make a purchase in the future. Their toothpaste will make your teeth at least a shade or two lighter. My only complaint is that their tubes are small. They are not full as they look! I love all of the flavors, but I favor the Wintergreen the most.

They will give you a few options that suits your needs. I fell in love with Black Tankini with Sable Trim ($69.90). This particular style exudes sophistication. I also received the SlimSkort ($59.90) to go with it. Since I don't live where it is warm and sunny, I haven't been able to hit the pool yet. Can't wait! However, I've been wearing this when I work out. The SlimPerfect line met my expectations. I love how lightweight, comfortable and supportive the tankini and the skort are!
Review: Fairytale Brownies
Once Upon a Time: It began as the simple idea of spreading joy through gourmet brownies. For more than 16 years, they had been devoted to providing an extraordinary product and customer experience.
Eileen Spitalny and David Kravetz have been friends since they met on the kindergarten playground at Madison Heights Elementary School in Phoenix, AZ. Friends throughout grade school and high school, David and Eileen decided at an early age that they wanted to be entrepreneurs and spread their love of chocolate and brownies around the world.
Founded in 1992, Fairytale Brownies began in a friend's catering kitchen using David's Mom's 50-year-old secret family brownie recipe. Those days are gone as the duo now oversees their direct-mail gourmet brownie business in a facility where they bake over 2.5 million brownies annually. In October 2006, the pair moved their bakery to a new 26,000-square-foot facility needed to accommodate their extraordinary growth.
Review: I'm honestly not a big fan of chocolate. I can only tolerate it in small doses. However, I can hardly resist brownies and let me tell you Fairytale Brownies does not disappoint! I received the Fairytale Dozen ($33.95). My family and I were able to sample 12 different flavors — Original, Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Cream Cheese, Espresso Nib, Mint Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Pecan, Raspberry Swirl, Toffee Crunch, Walnut and White Chocolate. Each flavor was a big hit with all of us!
My favorites were the Peanut Butter, Espresso Nib and Toffee Crunch. I love that the brownies weren't too sweet. This was a good thing since I'm not fond of anything that is too sweet. Aside from the delicious taste, the brownies came in gorgeous packaging. These brownies are perfect for gift giving and would be good for any occasion - parties, weddings, baby showers, etc. Family and friends will thank you!

Boogie Wipes: Snot Your Average Review
The Boogie Mom's Story: They remembered dropping saline (natural sodium chloride) into their kids noses when they were little to loosen mucus. After dropping in the saline, they would use those dreaded "suckers" to go in for the kill. Using this idea, they came up with a unique wipe formula using saline as an active ingredient. They didn't want just another baby wipe - it had to be soft and gentle but resistant to tearing, it had to smell fresh and clean but not irritate the skin with harsh additives, it definitely had to be something they felt good about putting on their kids faces.

I don't really need to know exactly how it works, I only know that it does. I keep these in my son's diaper bag at all times. This product is ideal for all ages!

Christa Taylor Interview and Giveaway
I know there's a reason for everything. What inspired you to launch Christa Taylor? It began with my increasing frustration with the paucity of clothing available that matched my desire for modesty and style. It simply didn't exist. In the end, we decided to take the risk, launch our own line and see if there were other women out there who felt the same way we did. Apparently there was ;)
How long did it take to open your business after giving it a thought? The idea first began incubating when I was 17, we launched Jan 15, 2007, 2 years later.
Is everything that you carry handmade by you? Alas, no (if you only knew how bad I was at sewing!). All of our clothing is crafted by manufacturers either here in the US (sometimes right here in Portland, OR) Italy or Asia.
What is your main goal with your business? I would answer that in three ways, my goal as co-founder is 1) – to be profitable, without cash flow it all falls apart. 2) to provide chic modest apparel and promote femininity in the fashion industry and 3) to support social justice and missions organizations throughout the world, particularly in Cambodia.

Review: I'm very impressed with the Clean George line and I thought all hand sanitizers were the same. NOT! I received all three of their scents - Lovin' Lavender, Grapefruit n' Sage and Mint-alyptus ($11.99 each). Even though I am pleased with them all, I favor the Mint-alyptus since I'm a Eucalyptus girl. All of the scents are strong. One squirt is good enough - very cost effective! Their hand sanitizers are free of alcohol and harsh chemicals. Their hand sanitizers will not dry out your hands or give them an icky sticky feeling like most sanitizers do.

Review: Naturally Nora
Naturally Nora uses the best all-natural ingredients. In fact, they're pretty hard to find anywhere else!
Dairy is "optional", meaning none of their mixes contain dairy products. It is your choice whether to add milk & butter during preparation. Vanilla soy milk & margarine also work well.
All of their products are kosher and do not contain dairy or soy.
Review: We received two different cake mixes, Sunny Yellow and Surprising Stars. We also received two different frosting mixes, Surprising Stars and Cheerful Chocolate.
Like most cake mixes, the Naturally Nora cake mixes are extremely easy to use. The directions on the back of the box explain clearly each and every step. Even those who do not have much baking experience should not have any trouble following these guidelines and making the most scrumptious cake or cupcakes - whatever your heart (and taste buds) desire!
I honestly wasn't sure what a "natural" cake would taste like, but we were all in for a sweet surprise. The cake turned out to be just as beautiful, delectable, and moist as it is shown on the picture on the box.
I think it is great that companies are now coming out with natural alternatives, especially with families in mind. I highly recommend the Naturally Nora brand if you're looking for a natural alternative as opposed to the traditional cake mixes out there.

Review: To say I was apprehensive about using the ThermaClear would be an understatement. The product is described on the site as delivering a 2-second pulse of healing thermal energy - that is just putting it mildly! The sting caught me by surprise when I first used this product. Yes, it did hurt and yes, it took me awhile to get used to this. I was a bit turned off by it. It is not so bad anymore since I've gotten used to it. The pain is moderate as plucking your eyebrows.
The ThermaClear leaves a small reddish spot after you've applied it to the blemish, but the redness disappears quickly. It is not a miracle product by any means, but it is a great asset to my skin care regimen. It doesn't work for people who have cystic acne, blackheads or whiteheads. The good thing is that it is quick and easy to use. I get moderate acne from time to time and this helps diminish blemishes within a few days, even before they form! This is much quicker than letting it heal on it's own or using the Zeno. Personally, I've never tried the Zeno, but I've read where it takes 2 minutes to use and this only takes two seconds.
The ThermaClear may be a bit more pricier than the Zeno, but you're saving more money in the long run since you have to buy monthly refills for the Zeno if used continuously. Plus, you don't have to charge the ThermaClear since it runs on 2 AA batteries.
