Review: We had the opportunity to sample all flavors from Popchips!. I'll admit that I've never really liked chips, but these were really good. The flavors that we received were Salt & Pepper, Sea Salt & Vinegar, Parmesan Garlic, Barbeque and Original. All were really good, but my absolute favorite was the Salt & Pepper. The Sea & Vinegar came next. My son really liked the Barbeque.
Unlike the chips you will mostly find at grocery aisle, these chips are not fried or baked. Popping is a way of cooking their all-natural ingredients using heat, pressure, and a little snack magic to burst the ingredients into the shape of a chip before they season it. They don't use any artificial colors or flavors. You also don't have to worry about fluorescent orange fingertips or greasiness. They use wholesome potatoes without any bad ingredients.... and pure awesomeness!

Review: Long gone are the days we could apply baby oil and soak up the sun in hopes of getting a California tan. Now all forms of skin cancer are increasing each year. More than 20 Americans die each day from skin cancer, primarily melanoma. Getting a bad sunburn before the age of 10 can give you up to a 50% chance of getting skin cancer as an adult. One person dies of melanoma almost every hour (every 62 minutes).
Rhonda Sparks started UV Skinz to raise awareness of this deadly disease after losing her 32-year old husband to skin cancer, just three days after the tragic 9-11 occurrence of 2001. We admire Rhonda for the work that she's putting forward after seeing what her husband went through. She's hoping that she can save lives after that ordeal. How great!
The reality of skin cancer touched Darren in 1996 when he was diagnosed with malignant melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer. Review: My son received the Taylor - Blue Tie-Dye Swim Shirt ($34.95). When we decide to hit the pool or go for a day at the park, I'm going to make sure that he wears this shirt. You start out by choosing your base (100% Organic Muesli, Low-Fat Granola, French Vanilla Granola or Organic Granola), and then you choose the ingredients that you would like to add to your granola - dried strawberries, dried blueberries, brazil nuts, organic soy beans, etc. They have quite a selection of ingredients to add to the mix. I had a hard time choosing what I wanted, but I finally settled for the organic granola, dried blueberries and goji berries due to high amount of antioxidants. I was excited about receiving this, because I knew that I was in for a treat after reading numerous of reviews online. Review: I received the Miss Posh Mary Jane Pumps in Black (AUD: $275 or USD: $217.30). The thick Mary Jane strap is cute, but the sky high heel adds a vampish appeal. It will dramatize any frock with it's sleekness and classiness. With a six inch heel, high quality leather and 3 layers of cushioning, it is the perfect partner for a party or just about any special occasion!
If you're not accustomed to this height, it might take awhile to get use to wearing the higher heel shoes. I love wearing high heels, and I'll even have to admit that it took me a bit to get used to this height. I believe that this is the highest pair of heels that I own!

I am one of the many people that signed up for Netflix when they started offering direct streaming through the Xbox 360. Not only could I stream movies on my big screen TV, courtesy of my Xbox 360, and on both of my computers, but I also got the DVDs in the mail, all at one low monthly cost. Needless to say I have been a happy Netflix customer for several months now.
Father's Day came early for me this year, and I received a Roku digital video player. The Roku player is an affordable, convenient and easy way for Netflix members to watch movies and TV episodes instantly on any TV. With built-in Wi-Fi, the Roku player is easy to connect to your home network.
This device could not be easier to set up. It has all of the connection types covered. Composite, S-Video, Component, and even HDMI. The hardest part of connecting this wonderful little device was entering my connection password for my wireless network. 
The remote operates the player just like any other standard remote. All the buttons are easy to navigate, allowing you to pause, play, rewind and fast-forward. Watching your Instant Queue just got easier. 
The Roku digital video player works flawlessly. I have watched several movies and TV shows and not once did I experience the message "Your Internet Connection Has Slowed. Please Wait While Netflix Makes Adjustments to Reduce Further Interruptions". Xbox 360 users, you know exactly what I am talking about. The quality was also impressive with a standard composite connection. The only downside about the device the lack of an off button. It goes into a sleep mode, complete with screen saver, and the timer for this can be adjusted in the options menu.
Not only does this wonderful little device stream Netflix without a hitch, it also allows access to Amazon Video On Demand. You can rent or buy movies and TV episodes, and stream them instantly for as low as 99 cents each.
With instant, unlimited streaming from Netflix starting at $8.99 a month, the service is too good of a deal to pass up. It's not only a cheap and affordable alternative to cable, it is a quality service that can't be beat.
The Roku digital video player MSRP is $99.99 and is well worth the price of admission. Netflix + Roku = Easily one of the best entertainment values Hands Down.

Using the Summer to Catch Up to Your Kids in Technology
It’s no secret that kids are more technologically advanced than their parents – they grew up online and spend a great deal of time chatting and facebooking. Rosemary Blandford recognized that as a mom and an adult, she did not know as much about the Internet as she wanted to in order to keep up with her kids. She created a resource for this, RosieKnows.com. There is an entire section about social networking so now, moms can join their kids online and stay involved in their digital lives.
Rosie offers free videos, step-by-steps and tutorials for moms looking to catch up to their kids technological level on a variety of different topics that everyone could stand to know how to utilize just a bit better.
Feeling a little "behind" when it comes to the Internet? Is your sixth grade daughter also doubling as your personal tech support? Your kids may be of the Facebook generation but not to worry, you can still catch the train. Get on board now because the train is a fast moving one! Here are five tips to help you get started:
Tip One: Get on Facebook even if your child is too young (less than 13 years old) to be on it. It is a communication site unlike anything you've ever seen. Besides reconnecting or "friending" others, it is a way to share pictures, communicate and have fun. Once reserved for college aged students, it is now expanding across generations. If you have a teenager, it is likely that they have a Facebook or some other type of social networking account. After you've established yourself:
Learn the lingo. A friend of mine couldn't understand why his teenage daughter was so upset after she had been "tagged" on Facebook. Did someone catch her he wondered? He didn't know what being "tagged" meant and it was only days later that he learned an unflattering picture of her had been identified and was seen by many.
Know the privacy settings. While nothing on Facebook is truly private, it is important to understand how the settings work. I keep my privacy settings high meaning only my friends (people I've approved) can view my information.
Tip Two: Know how to do a good Internet search. If your child is interested in learning about something or needs to do research for a school project, the Internet is often the first (and sometimes the only) stop. Learning how to do a good search can help get to the right sites quickly. Hint: using quotation marks and symbols are a must.
Tip Three: The movie screen has shrunk - to less than 3 inches on a web enabled device like an iphone or blackberry. YouTube has allowed anyone to be a movie maker. Movies of all kinds are constantly uploaded to YouTube. Easy to use recording devices have made uploading to YouTube fairly simple and straightforward. Take a spin on YouTube and see what your kids may be watching. Then, once you figure it out ask if they have a favorite channel or what they like to watch.
Tip Four: Communication has gone high tech. Sure, the best communication is still done face to face but other communication techniques are widely used. Standard phone calls and even email are being replaced by Internet video calling and text messaging. Many people use a tiny keypad to send text messages but if I'm at my computer, I'll use that instead since it is free and not as tedious.
Tip Five: Find your music online. The days of buying a CD are winding down and chances are pretty high that your child doesn't even consider buying a CD when they want to listen to music. Pandora is a hit with young and old - essentially a internet radio station you customize. iTunes is a favorite for many wishing to download music and makes a great gift for someone of the Facebook generation.

Review: Popina Swimwear

Review: I received the Retro Sadie in Espresso ($78) just in time for summer, and quickly fell in love with it when I first tried it on. It's a bit challenging to find a swimsuit that is modest, yet fashionable. I like that the swimsuit is form fitting and comfortable. The simple style exudes sophistication. It is perfect for a day at the beach, pool or cruise. It's the most comfortable bathing suit I've worn in a long time! The fabric quality is great, and this indicates that it will last a long time. It might be pricier than the run of the mill swimsuits that you will find at the store, but it is well worth it.

Review: Baby Banz
Review: I can't go anywhere without any sunglasses, and my son is the same way. We both have sensitive eyes. Therefore, I was very happy to come across Baby Banz ($15). With a durable, adjustable and elastic strap, I don't have to worry about my son breaking his sunglasses like he would normally with a pair of traditional sunglasses. These sunglasses fit him perfectly and has become his favorite accessory whenever we go out. Not only do I love that his favorite accessory offers him protection, but I like that they stay put when he is running around and playing! These sunglasses might be a bit pricey compared to the kids sunglasses you will find at the discount stores, but I believe they are well worth it since they're very durable and offers the ultimate protection.

Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth
Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth takes the Ace Attorney series from the courtroom to the crime scene, leaving the legal battle behind while bringing the action to various crime scenes. This game will be released in Winter 2009.
This time around, the player takes on the role of famed prosecutor Miles Edgeworth, a memorable rival of charismatic legal eagle Phoenix Wright. Edgeworth actively investigates crime scenes in order to pursue the truth behind each case. By solving the challenging puzzles presented him, Edgeworth will work with the police to bring criminals to justice.
Users will be able to directly control the character avatar's movement on the scene with the arrow key or touch screen and investigate the crime scenes freely. If, during the course of an investigation, users find contradictions, they will be able to obtain new information by presenting decisive evidence. In some cases, users will identify clues and conduct examinations of material witnesses. On these occasions, users will have to uncover the truth behind the crimes using collected information, the evidence, and logic.
Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth is composed of several lengthy episodes. In the first episode, an argument in Edgeworth's office results in a mysterious murder. Edgeworth, coming back from a one-month business trip, enters his office and encounters the body of the man who was shot. He is then threatened by someone who is presumed to be the suspect with a gun from behind. In the second episode, Edgeworth wakes up after being knocked out due to an air pocket accident inside a luxury airliner flying through turbulence. Shaken by the flashback of nightmarish past memories, he opens the on board elevator's door, only to find a male corpse. At this very moment a cabin attendant witnesses the scene and Edgeworth is made a suspect of murder!
Miles Edgeworth will have to confront suspects and get to the bottom of his cases by collecting information and evidence through detective work between key locations. Also, in the "logic" mode that symbolizes Edgeworth's logical inferences, users can discover new information and evidence by combining two pieces of information out of the collected pieces. The real culprit that will be revealed through investigations and witnesses will be confronted in a 'battle' similarly fought (Testimony – Pursuit – Press – Confront) to that of the 'Court Battle' in the Ace Attorney series (Testimony – Cross Examination) to expose the contradictions.
