Mattel just announced their latest Barbie designs, including one straight from the modern tech world. Computer Engineer Barbie, expected to be available for the holiday 2010 season, will be clad with a pink laptop, binary shirt and cell phone earpiece.

This new Barbie model further validates our highly tech-reliant society while teaching young children that using laptops and cell phones is not just ok, but “cool.”
