Denny’s will redefine the concept of traditional value menus on April 3, 2010 with the nationwide introduction of its new $2 $4 $6 $8 Value Menu. Denny’s first-ever, all day, every day value menu will provide consumers a variety of meal choices at affordable prices, featuring traditional favorites as well as new a la carte menu items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and late night. Denny’s 16-item value menu seeks to establish an alternative to fast food establishments by providing consumers a wide variety of everyday affordable menu items. Known as COVERGIRL's first volume and length mascara, together in one step for lashes with bold volume and stunningly beautiful length. It doesn't clump and it adds volume & length - a must if you want lashes to make a statement.

Spokeo - A Playground for Stalkers

I just found out on one of my favorite blogs that a site called Spokeo is sharing your information. They go as far as to share your address, home phone, educational background, credit background, income information, interests, etc. Not all of it is 100% accurate (not in my thirties, ask me again in 5 years - lol - and they got many of my interests wrong), but they share enough information where people should be concerned.

All you have to do is search for your name on their site. I just had mine removed, and I thought I'd give you a heads up since I think that this an invasion of privacy.

To do this, follow these simple steps:

To remove Phone/Name Listings:

1. Locate the listing you want removed
2. Copy the URL. The URL can be found on the top of your browser and should look something like:

3. Go to http://www.spokeo.com/privacy
4. Paste the URL from step 2
5. Provide your email address (required to verify that you are not an automated bot)
6. Check your inbox for the confirmation email, and click on the link on the bottom to complete removal process
7. The directory listing will become flagged and should be removed within 1 business day

I honestly don't think there is a better way to start your morning or relax after a long day than sipping on tea. Most people drink coffee in the morning. I love to drink tea to jumpstart my morning. Honestly, there is nothing I drink more than tea. I order a lot of it from different companies. I mostly drink organic tea, and my favorite kind is Green Tea and White Tea. Golden Moon Tea have taken upon themselves to improve the traditional Earl Grey Tea by adding fresh lavender, which adds a more distinctive flavor and aroma. Earl Grey tea isn't just an enjoyable tea to drink; it's commonly used medicinally as to cure a multitude of illnesses including the cold and flu, and has a plethora of health benefits. It is a wonderful antidepressant, antioxidant and fever reducer.

PBS KIDS Series Between the Lions Announces 2010 Roadshow

Lions and stories and music, oh my! For nearly ten years, the Emmy® Award-winning PBS KIDS series Between the Lions has given children the tools they need to master key literacy skills. This spring, Between the Lions sets out on its fourth annual Roadshow, continuing its tradition of making learning fun, and traveling to four cities to educate and entertain fans with live, interactive puppet shows.

In celebration of two Emmy wins in 2009 (including an award for "Outstanding Pre-School Children's Series") and the series' upcoming tenth anniversary, the Lions are especially excited to share their love for reading during the Roadshow. And for the first time ever, Theo and his cub Leona will roar into Macon, Georgia, to participate as a "mane" act at the Georgia State Fair, which has provided safe and wholesome family entertainment since it first began in 1846. Between the Lions will also travel to Atlanta, GA; Columbia, SC; and Charlotte, NC, performing at local family-friendly venues.

Between the Lions' Roadshow performances are designed to bring the television series to life, encouraging children to read, sing along with the Lions, and recognize words in the world around them. Engaging and animated books such as Is Your Mama a Llama? and Click, Clack, Moo will encourage audience participation, and Aaron Nigel Smith, founder of FUNdamentals of Music and Movement, will be back to join the Roadshow, adding his original award-winning music to the mix.

"We're looking forward to performing at new venues this year, including the iconic Georgia State Fair," says Judy Stoia, Executive Producer of Between the Lions at WGBH Boston. "This is the first time we've been part of such a large statewide event, and doing so will allow us to reach more kids and families."

"Theo and Leona can't wait to take their show on the road and get the opportunity to meet their fans up close, in person. As always, the Lions will offer a roaring good time for kids and parents alike with entertaining sing-alongs, stories, and more," adds Chris Cerf, Executive Producer for Sirius Thinking, a co-producer of the series.

Catch Theo and Leona's live performances in Atlanta, GA on Friday, April 30 (venue TBA). Next, they spend five days at the Georgia State Fair in Macon, GA from May 1-5. Finally, the lions travel to Columbia, SC on May 6 and Charlotte, NC from May 7-8 (venues TBA).

Take Pride Adventure Learning is an innovative reading system for children ages 3-6. I love how well the DVD set captivates my toddler's attention. Almost any parent knows that anything that holds a toddler's attention longer than a minute is a definite keeper. Music and beautifully illustrated images draws the viewer in. I'll admit that I even enjoyed watching the DVDs with my son. The DVDs even include real photos and video from the archives of the world-famous San Diego Zoo.

Learning to say the alphabet is important for any toddler, and the iKnow Playing Cards (these are included in the learning set, but additional packs can be be bought for $14.99) will teach your toddler that saying the alphabet can be fun and easy! Proving that these are not your typical alphabet cards; each letter is textured so a child can feel, see and say the letter simultaneously. I'm very fond of the LeapFrog brand, because they offer a lot of fun and educational products. I've been purchasing their products since my son was born. Therefore, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to review the LeapFrog Math Adventure to the Moon DVD.

This is an excellent DVD that will teach children (ages 2-7) basic math skills such as counting 1-10, skip counting (2s, 5s and 10s), adding, sorting and patterns. My son loves this DVD so much that he will watch it over and over again if I let him. He does this with all of his favorites - SpongeBob, Diego, Dora the Explorer and Scooby Doo. I guess this is another favorite to add to the list. It is not just another educational DVD, because they keep it fun and lively with musical numbers. I was so impressed with the LeapFrog Math Adventure to the Moon DVD so much that his grandmother bought the LeapFrog: Let's Go to School DVD at Wal-Mart today.
