“Martha & Friends,” the animated series featuring a 10-year-old Martha Stewart, will be airing its “Back to School” special this Friday, September 30 at 12 PM ET on Hallmark Channel. Viewers can also check out the episode online at http://www.marthaandfriends.com.

Join Martha & Friends as they go back to school in this new animated adventure. It's time for Martha, Lily, Hannah and Kevin to move on to middle school but Hannah is sad to be leaving elementary school behind. Fortunately, Martha cheers her friend up by creating scrapbooks to remember all the good times they had during the summer and organizing a block party where all of the new middle school classmates can meet each other. Martha's plans work perfectly and Hannah finds herself excited about moving on to a new school!

The special and website also features a number of fun and educational projects for kids to try at home. Full details and step-by-step instructions on how to make festive paper table covers, scrapbooks, seashell wind chimes, sticky buns and more can be found here.

I've always wanted to try this but I'm allergic to avocados as food so I assume I would be with them on my face, too. Which sucks, because avocados & are so good for your skin- eaten OR slathered on!

Hmmm this is so simple I might have to try it. I don't like to eat avocados, but I could probably stand putting them on my face. lol
