This summer has been hot and sweltering, to a point of being too unbearable to cool off at the pool. Thankfully, you can stay inside with a cool beverage and watch family films, such as Disney Pixar’s Brave, which released at the theaters on June 22nd. This film is about Miranda, a young, red-headed Scottish royal full of fiery independence, who must find the courage to save her family from a mysterious curse.

The Brave Castle and Forest Playset can be enjoyed by boys and girls since it’s not outwardly girly, so I didn’t have any qualms about my son having this for a toy. This playset features a beautifully detailed indoor castle and an outdoor forest. Inside the two story castle, there is a kitchen with a table and chair and a bedroom with a four poster bed. Each room features intricate and small, yet significant details, making this playset anything but ordinary. It also includes a Merida doll, Angus horse, and several accessories to inspire hours of imaginary fun.
